Week 10

So the nausea finally seems to be subsiding and in its place is an appetite that will make up for any previously lost weight! Although, our 3 year old definitely out ate me at lunch today - talk about a growth spurt. I'm still fairly exhausted by the end of the week, but that could be because I teach 23 1st graders each day and have my own two at home. Next week will be a little more challenging since Matt is on travel. Luckily, Matt's parents are taking Luke for a few nights to help out. I also go back to the doctor for the long family history and dreaded exam on Tuesday. Hopefully, they will make the visit a little more enjoyable by at least letting me hear the heartbeat again.

Babble into Words

Gabe has been saying things like mama and dada for awhile, but he's beginning to move onto other words. He makes valiant attempts to say banana (nanana) because he wants one for dinner every night! He also says "up!" We figure the word ball will be next because he is awfully attached to a particular basketball at home.

To Eat or Not to Eat?

The nasuea of this pregnancy seems to be lessening up and my appetite is definitely coming back! Unfortuantely, there are still bouts of nausea intermixed :/. Luckily, I have discovered Preggie Pops which are these magical suckers that really do make the nausea go away! I just ordered a bunch more online.

Luke has decided that the baby will be here soon - try explaining the concept of 7 more months to a 3 year old. I think he began to understand when I related it to being after his birthday. Then I discovered that he thinks his birthday (July 26) is soon! Gabe, on the other hand, has no idea what's coming :). He has been getting much smarter though. He tries so hard to communicate his messages and has developed definite preferences for things like finger food over pureed food.

My Valentine's Present

Yes, that is baby #3! We heard a strong heartbeat and got to see our little peanut for the first time today. The due date is September 21st! For those who work with me, I don't plan on telling the students for a little while.

3, 2. 1, Blast Off!

Luke has a newfound interest in astronauts and outer space at the moment. Here he is in his space suit and space rocket!

Dominoes

Dominoes are the funniest thing to Gabe right now! We're not really sure why, but he just cracks up everytime one drops on the floor. Here's a cute video of the boys playing!
