Cooped Up

So the boys and I have been cooped up in the house for the past few days due to snow days. You can tell its getting to Luke so we got out for a bit today. He's pretty good at home about dancing and finding other physical outlets for his energy that aren't destructive to our home, but that can only last him so long. Luke and I had a fun trip to the Wonderlab today where he saw a robot that was taller than him! It was really funny to watch as he tentatively returned the ball that the robot would spit out at kids. He also made it to the top of the grapevine climbing thingy! He's never gone past the 2nd or 3rd level of it before, but today he watched a couple of older boys manuever it and just followed their lead. You can tell that he's been cooped up inside for awhile with all of these snow days because he was bouncing from spot to spot in the museum. He is of course asking to go back to the BIG museum, otherwise known as The Children's Museum. I think we'll try to hold him off until Gabe is walking (and until I have new teacher passes to use). O and we found Luke's name written on each of his closet doors with a purple marker. Very nicely written, just in the wrong place!

Gabe has decided that army crawling is the way to go and has become a master at this technique! I am pretty sure that he sees no need to change his ways and will just go from his army crawl to walking when he's ready. The GOOD news is that he is still sleeping well (most nights anyway)!
